Create Card December 2012 Blog Challenge

This is a card I put together for a Create Blog challenge. I love the combination of blue and yellow. The paper is DCWV and of course I used my Slice with some border punches. Also, one thing new I did was I hand basted some ribbon and added it as a unique trim. Hope I win?

Happy Birthday Card

This is a very frilly shabby chic birthday card. I don't make these often so it was lots of fun! I used a stack from DCWV called Coral Couture which always looks great!

I used a few different punches from Martha Stewart and EK Success which are so great for quick projects. I also added some lace under a very sheer pink ribbon and it was super easy to apply with my XYRON machine. Oh, and last but not least I added a stamp saying Happy Birthday with some embossing powder and Versamark.

Over all it really was a easy and creative card to make.

I can't wait to give it to my wonderful friend tomorrow.

CREATE and DCWV Blog Challenge

I am so excited about this project! the CREATE blog which is also part of Northridge Publishing teamed up with DCWV to post a creative challenge. Basically, be your creative self and submit a video or picture of your own design and you may be one of six lucky winners! The winner would then receive 12 DCWV Stacks! Well, with that said you know I had to take part in this awesome challenge. So here is what I created and CREATE asked me to post it on my blog so they could Pin on Pinterest! "I am FLATTERED"! Win or no win I love the recognition. So thanks CREATE and DCWV!

My Husbands First Baby Picture

This is a layout I did using My Mind's Eye paper from "The Lost and Found" collection.  I made the baby carriage using The Slice and I used the "Baby" cartridge.  I also used some stamps from "The Lost and Found" stamp collection.  I distressed the pendant using Tim Holtz ink and buffer pad then added some gems and a little ribbon.

DCWV Card for the Scrap-a-Holic Challenge

DCWV Card for the Scrap-a-Holic Challenge
Just wanted to share my recent submission to the DCWV July Stack-a-Holic Challenge.  I am sure most of you know if you follow their blog that they have a monthly challenge.  They require that you use one of their stacks to create a card based off a sketch they provide.

Well, here is mine.  I used the Coral Couture Stack and made the tag using my Slice.  The cartridge I used was Sentiments!  The trim punch was from Martha Stewart and I just added a little fiber ribbon.  Hope you lite it.
